As a Security Officer - Front Desk in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .
As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will be stationed at the main entry point, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service and clear communication. You will interact with staff and guests, respond to inquiries, and support a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
- Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
- Communicate with site management and emergency services when appropriate, following established procedures.
- Support customer service by addressing inquiries and providing information relevant to the location's operations.
- Help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior through attentive observation and adherence to procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
