Security Officer - Patrol

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Our team is seeking dedicated professionals to join us in a dynamic role within the Tech/Media/Telecom sector. As a Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling various areas, including platforms and movers, while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This position does not require driving or carrying arms, but experience with alarm panels and loss prevention is preferred.

Pay Rate: $16.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to various working environments and conditions as required by the location.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment by being observant and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
• Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address security-related concerns and enhance the overall security posture of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Familiarity with alarm panel systems is preferred.
• Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
