Starting Base Pay: $16.84 per hour
Qualifications:
21 Years of Age with A Valid SC Driver's License
1 Years Security, Law Enforcement or Military Experience

Responsibilities:
- Provides basic access control, security surveillance, traffic direction and control, loss prevention, and other essential security functions to protect critical energy infrastructure as well as Park patrons.
- Be responsible for the overall safety and well-being of Park patrons visiting the parks at all times.
Effectively communicate and enforce all park rules as well as SC law. Provide an exceptional customer service attitude to the client and general public, as well as monitor and direct daily pedestrian and vehicle traffic safely during times of high-volume capacity.
- Provide accurate accountability as well as safeguard all monetary transactions, including accurately completing electronic transaction documentation. Also responsible for inventory control of all equipment assigned to posts.
- Basic computer or tablet skills required with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe and ability to manage electronic ticket and monetary transaction software.
- Respond to client or park emergencies as they arise, including ensuring appropriate communication to management and the client.
- Secures property and personnel by patrolling (on foot and/or in vehicle as required), monitoring public traffic and activity at all times throughout the Park. Observe and remain vigilant and alert at all times for signs of crime, disorder, hazards, and unusual activities.
- Conducts limited inquiries and reports security breaches, security incidents, as well as responds to incidents of fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, or pending inclement weather.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities through a daily log or DAR (Daily Activity Report) as required.
- Conduct periodic patrols on foot or via a motor vehicle throughout the park to monitor activities and report unsafe conditions, blocked entryways, security violations, mechanical problems, illegally parked vehicles and unauthorized individuals.
- Ability to de-escalate situations by applying good verbal and professional communication skills to prevent situations from becoming physical threats.
- Secure and preserve suspected crime scenes to protect the integrity of evidence as well as provide first aid or life-saving measures to injured or ill-persons during medical emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
