Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Charlestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Officer in the Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will engage with individuals in a professional manner, utilizing your access control and badge experience to manage entry points. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment within the tech, media, and telecom location by being observant and proactive.
• Engage with clients and visitors in a professional manner, offering assistance and guidance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have authorization to work unarmed and must provide a photo and fingerprints as part of the application process.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
