Job Description
The Security Flex Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of facilities they protect. This role acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, detecting and reporting suspicious or unsafe activities at or near their assigned posts.
This position requires effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 21 years of age with 1 year of security experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for driving positions)
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
- Ability to work effectively in various environments, including cold weather, rain, snow, or heat
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders, and standing or walking on various surfaces for long periods
