Security Professional - Transit Patrol

As a Security Professional - Transit Patrol in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a transportation environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the location for unusual behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Unarmed Authorization, photo identification, and fingerprinting are required as part of the employment process.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
