As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your duties. Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
- Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
- Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors as required by site policies.
- Support emergency response efforts, including evacuation or lockdown procedures, when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must be issued in the state where the job is located.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
