Job Description
We're hiring an Unarmed Security Professional to conduct patrols on foot or in a vehicle within a hospital environment. You'll monitor CCTV and alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform security patrols of hospital grounds, documenting unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
- Assist hospital staff with de-escalating situations involving patients, restraining combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines).
- Transport patients to the morgue when needed and assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
- Sound alarms or call the police or fire department in case of a fire or unauthorized presence.
- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A current driver's license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
- A minimum of two years of verifiable employment history in customer service or the protective service industry.
