Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to fabricate metal components according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all products meet the required standards and specifications.
Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
- Perform quality inspections of finished products using calipers and other measuring tools.
- Fabricate parts according to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) guidelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar machining role is preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T principles.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes and tools, including calipers.
- Knowledge of additional machining processes such as lathe operation, electrical discharge machining, welding, and programming is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
