Job Summary : As the Contractor Pollution Liability Industry Product Line Manager, you’ll be instrumental at analyzing market trends and profitability, cultivating business relationships with retail and wholesale brokers, and growing a portfolio of contractor pollution liability (CPL) insurance products.
You’ll be part of Allied World Environmental’ s product management team; externally represent Allied World in the construction space, mentor underwriters, and drive CPL results. The ideal candidate will have market-leading understanding of the contractor pollution liability underwriting discipline and a solid understanding of contractor pollution and professional coverages.
You will also have a working understanding of site pollution lability insurance, with particular emphasis on how these coverages interact with CPL.

This role will require close collaboration with underwriters and senior management to support competitive and profitable products that meet market demands. Job Responsibilities :
- Manage the design, strategy, and implementation of Contractors Pollution Policy products
- Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure products remain competitive and profitable
- Participate in treaty reinsurance and prepare treaty special exceptions.
- Collaborate with business development and underwriting team to refine and promote CPL products
- Mentor and develop field underwriters
- In collaboration with senior management, establish and prioritize product initiatives based on market conditions and alignment with company goals
- Conduct internal and external product training
- Participate in industry events and help drive CPL-related thought leadership, such as white papers and panel discussions
- Build strong relationship with brokers and insureds to understand needs and offer tailored solutions
- Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure CPL product meets all internal and regulatory requirements
- Responsible for underwriting and managing large accounts, both new and renewals, as needed and prepare quotes, binders, referrals, and underwriting file documentation in compliance with company guidelines
