Production Machine Operator
Hiring for ALL shifts!
Pay Rate: $22.50/hr
Production Machine Operator, is responsible for operating production equipment on mostly automated processing lines. The candidate will make necessary adjustments or minor repairs to ensure safe, efficient and high quality production. They will drive a forklift, unload trailers, clean up the raw material space, and run key processing equipment.
Duties:
- Understands, follows, and enforces all established policies, procedures and recognized practices.
- Monitor fully automated processing lines.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities.
- Make frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards.
- Assist with some mechanical repairs.
- Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
- Complete and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner
- Communicate with all members of Production, shipping and management.
- Notify the shift leader or management with any equipment related issues.
- Communicate processing information to designated personnel on incoming shift.
- Assist in the training of new Operators.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Integrity and great work ethics
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Team player
