About The Position
Job Title : Social Worker
Job Location : Nebraska
Length of Assignment : 13 weeks
Start Date : Immediately
Work Schedule : Flexible, 24-30 hours per week (consistent once set)
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Provide telehealth appointments for patients aged 4 to geriatric
- Work with primary care teams to treat and manage patients with emotional and health problems
- Offer direct clinical services including intake, programmatic education, individual therapy, marital therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and emergency services
- Evaluate patients for potential self-harm or harm to others on an emergency basis
- Complete intake assessments, formulate provisional diagnoses, and provide interpretive summaries
- Educate patients, families, and staff on care techniques, prevention, and treatment
- Conduct substance abuse screening, education, and brief interventions
- Refer patients to mental health or substance abuse specialists as needed
- Participate in Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance efforts
- Participate in Clinical Behavioral Health on-call coverage schedule
