About The Position
Job Title : Medical Lab Technician
Job Location : Washington
Type of Facility : 14-bed Critical Access Hospital
Length of Assignment : 13 weeks
Start Date : Immediately
Work Schedule : Thursday-Saturday, 7 AM - 7 : 30 PM
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Float between various laboratory benches, including hematology, blood banking, chemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis
- Perform patient tests, handling 10-20 tests per shift
- Operate specialized equipment
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with the day shift MLT and other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to all safety and quality control protocols
- Adapt to the needs of a critical access hospital serving patients of all ages
