About The Position
Sterile Processing DepartmentSterile Processing Tech : Must have 2-3yrs experience as SPT.Typical Cases : Mostly Ortho, GYN, General, Cataract, C-Section, Podiatry. No major trauma. Responsibilities : - Sterilizing, cleaning, and packaging surgical instruments- Preparing and delivering sterilized equipment to surgical teams- Laying out surgical gowns and gloves- Collecting and cleaning used medical supplies- Operating and maintaining sterilization equipment- Ensuring supplies are clean and functioning properly- Maintaining records of sterilization and equipment maintenance- Reordering and controlling medical supplies- Disposing of medical wasteShift : DaysWeekend / Holiday / Call Requirment : Every other weekend, no holidays, no call.Required Certs & LIcenses : CRCST, BLSScrub Color : NavyEMR : CernerLOCAL : $38.38hr, $57.57 OT
