Medical technologists, or clinical laboratory scientists, are responsible for performing complex tests on blood and other body fluids, such as : biological, chemical, hematological, immunological, microscopic, and bacteriological tests. Medical technologists analyze samples for chemical content or reaction, determine concentrations of compounds, and type and cross match samples for blood transfusions.
