In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing parts in a dynamic job shop environment.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing parts in a dynamic job shop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Apply powder coatings using a batch booth system with consistent quality and accuracy.
- Mask and plug parts with heat-resistant tape, caps, and plugs according to specifications.
- Use precision tools like Exacto knives for detailed prep work.
- Load and unload parts from the curing oven, ensuring careful handling throughout.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics with accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily production goals.
- Continuously adapt to varied tasks and priorities based on business needs.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior powder coating experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to retain information and follow instructions.
- Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The role requires time standing and walking on the production floor.
- May be required to operate a computer and/or other office devices.
- Occasionally will have to lift and/or transport items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Perform repetitive tasks involving bending, stretching, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Exposure to the production floor.
- While on the production floor, employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts and may be required to put on precautionary, protective wear such as safety glasses.
