We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our Tulsa, Oklahoma team. The primary responsibility of this role is to program, operate, and maintain a Zeiss Contura Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) in our quality lab to ensure parts and products meet precise specifications. Responsibilities :
- Program and operate the Zeiss Contura CMM using Calypso software to perform dimensional inspections per engineering drawings, GD&T standards, and customer requirements.
- Analyze CMM inspection data, identify trends or deviations, and generate detailed reports.
- Troubleshoot and optimize CMM programs for maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product inspections using the CMM and supplementary tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
- Verify conformity of manufactured components to specifications and identify non-conformances.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and create detailed quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Document calibration and maintenance activities for the Zeiss Contura and other precision instruments.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Recommend improvements to inspection methods, tools, and processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on the Zeiss Contura CMM to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with Zeiss service technicians for advanced maintenance or software updates as needed.
Qualifications :
Wage Scale : $60,000 $75,000
