Allient Inc. is currently seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in Mission, Texas! The Quality Systems Specialist creates new and revises existing, quality systems documentation (e.g., procedures, specifications, charts, etc.), ensures revision control procedures are followed and master list, customer specific requirements documentation revisions are properly updated and maintained. Responsibilities:
• Reviews quality systems documentation and prepares for implementation in the QMS.
• Coordinates and completes customer survey responses as required for new and existing customers.
• Obtains quality system performance and summarizes KPI information for timely review in the HFM platform.
• Communicates results internally to management and externally to customers and auditors.
• Audits quality systems documentation and customer web-sites for updated information and requirements.
• Supports/Coordinates external visitor site visits, systems audits and security screening as necessary.
• Coordinates Quality and Environmental systems standards / documentation management and revision control.
• Coordinates and administers MRP/ERP systems and Quality systems interactions for accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Degree, 2 year or an Associates degree preferred.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in quality systems administration position, or data and document control equivalent
in a manufacturing environment.
• International Standards Organization (ISO) standards experience is a plus.
• Computer software (e.g. MS Office, data analysis software, email, ERP/MRP) experience required.
• Must be able to perform and interact with internal / external personnel in a professional manner.
Physical Demands:
• The role is mostly office-based but may spend some time standing and walking on the production floor.
• May be required to operate a computer and/or other office devices.
• Occasionally will have to lift and/or transport items weighing between 10 and 30 pounds.
