As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients, ensuring their IT systems run seamlessly and efficiently. This is a remote position, and you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while still making a meaningful impact on our clients' businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, such as network connectivity problems, software and hardware malfunctions, and peripheral equipment issues, for our clients via phone, email, or remote desktop support
- Provide timely and efficient technical support to our clients while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team for resolution and document all troubleshooting steps taken for future reference
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve processes and procedures for delivering exceptional customer support
- Monitor and maintain clients' IT systems to ensure smooth operation and proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact the clients' business
- Keep track of all support requests and ensure timely follow-up and resolution within the agreed-upon SLAs
- Provide training and guidance to clients on using new hardware or software applications as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Help Desk Technician or a similar role
- Strong experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software is a plus
- Outstanding customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications and/or a degree in Information Technology or a related field is a plus
- Prior experience in a remote work setting is preferred.
