Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and detail oriented Social Media Manager to join our agency team. This role will be responsible for engaging with our client’s online community, developing compelling written content, and ensuring exceptional customer service across all channels. The ideal candidate is a strong creative writer and a people person. Diabetes knowledge a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement
- Actively engage with online community.
- Foster a sense of community.
Content Development
- Identify compelling stories from the community.
- Write clear, compelling, and on-brand captions for social media posts.
- Stay updated on trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with creative team on content development.
Customer Service
- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns on social media platforms.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide accurate information to customers.
- Track and report on customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues diplomatically.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) a plus.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a remote work environment.
