The Customer Success Specialist is an employee of the Agency Owner and not an employee of American Family Insurance.
Summary
The Customer Success Specialist ensures a high-level customer experience for potential and existing customers by relationship building, solving problems, identifying cross sell opportunities, and enhancing agency follow up processes.
Customer Service
Provides personalized customer service by building trust and strong relationships.Timely responses to inquiries about coverages, billing, claims, or products.Enhances customer satisfaction by following best practices like offering insurance reviews and following up on claim processes.Processes accurate and thorough changes to accounts and policies.Acts as a liaison between the customer, agency, and appropriate American Family partners.Provides customer-focused resolution to issues.Promotes satisfied customers to share positive online reviews and ask for customer referrals.Agency Operations
Efficiently maintains office processes with consistent follow up on customer interactions.Schedules appointments with existing or prospective customers for agencyExecutes essential daily administrative functions to support the agency.Ensures strict compliance with office procedures and standards.Coordinates set up and execution of agency events.Monitors cash handling and banking activitiesMaintains social media platforms for the agency.Insurance Sales
Participates in reviewing coverages for existing customers and advising on coverage option.Estimates and quotes policy premiums complying with underwriting guidelines.Identifies cross-selling opportunities during customer interactions and takes appropriate action.Education / Licenses / Designations
Required by state statutes to have proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance products. The following lines of authority are required for this position : Property; Casualty; and Life; (Health is optional)—Minnesota and Wisconsin required.Maintain active licenses in applicable states through continuing education (CEs)Valid driver’s license required.Role Requirements
Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work.Active involvement in the local community.Customer service experience.Effective oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly organized and detail-orientatedExperienced with PC software applications.Experience using digital devices.Experience with social media platforms.Solid knowledge and understanding of basic mathematical skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the insurance industry.Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, finance, or related field.Working Conditions
