Large managed care company is looking for a Clinical Nurse (LPN) to assist with acute calls and provide clinical support for acute visits on site for. This is a contract position.

WORK LOCATION : 3151 N Alafaya Trail, Ste 101, Orlando, FL 32826

PAY : $33.00

CONTRACT DATES : 2 / 03 / 25 - 5 / 03 / 25

HOURS : M-F, 8-5

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains an active nursing appointment schedule for assisting the Provider in the monitoring of members' health care needs.
  • Assists the Care Manager and Provider in the follow-up management of post-hospitalized or post-emergency room visits.
  • Comprehensively screens patients for care opportunities and collaborates with treating physician and / or Registered Nurse to develop care plans that meet patients' needs and result in appropriate quality care.
  • Provides condition specific patient education and anticipatory guidance, as well as care coordination, under the guidance of the Provider and / or Registered Nurse.

QUALIFICIATIONS

  • Highschool / GED or equivalent
  • Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse with an active and unrestricted license to practice in FL
  • Current BLS certification
  • Healthcare professional experience in a hospital setting, urgent care, or primary care
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and maintenance. Ability to learn how to maintain medical equipment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to complete a color blindness test
  • IV certified and bilingual preferred is preferred
