As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless development cycles, scalable infrastructure, and the reliable delivery of high-quality software.
Core Responsibilities- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Containerization: Build and manage scalable containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, monitor, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD to automate testing, builds, and deployments.
- Cloud Environments: Manage and monitor cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Automation: Automate routine tasks and workflows using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth code integration and deployment processes.
- Reliability & Security: Ensure system reliability and security through monitoring, logging, and incident response tools.
- Strong foundation in development and operations principles.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipeline tools.
- Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
