As the successful candidate, you will demonstrated success with the coordination of the execution of a wide variety of industrial projects.
A Day in the Life
- Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications to support the owner
- Produce mechanical / piping layout drawings, piping isometric drawings, tank data sheets, process and instrumentation / control diagrams, specifications and details and bills of materials
- Assist and coordinate the development of procurement and contract documents, including Requests for Quotations, Bid Walks, Technical Bid Evaluations, Engineering Work Packages and coordinate contractor activities
- Coordinate engineering, project management and construction activities to ensure the project is fabricated and installed as per design drawings and specifications
- Review and approve daily project progress report, own the QA document and logs for project completion (record keeping)
- Participate in technical meetings with the office engineering team and client
- Assist vendors to gather and prepare data for submittal or transmittal to the owner
- Assist in the maintenance of project record keeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, requests for information (RFIs) and memorandums
- Provide field support and respond to field engineering RFI and questions as quickly as possible in line with project design philosophy
- Prepare request for quotation and scope of work documents for related project needs
- Responsible for maintaining master project schedules
