Our Ideal Candidate
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for Electrical and Automation Engineering activities within the Saskatchewan divisions. Extensive knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and controls for industrial applications is required. As a key Saskatchewan team member, you will be independent yet have the vast support group of other Allnorth engineers and designers to support you and allow you to tackle exciting projects at various levels such as feasibility, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Construction and Commissioning. Projects range in size and complexity but typically will be in the small to medium range.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Canada
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial design, plant and/or construction environment
- Proficient in engineering software applications such as database tools, AutoCAD, ETAP
- Thorough understanding of codes, governing regulations and industry practices
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written)
- Proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail
- Lead client interactions and review meeting as wells as communicate with vendors and subconsultants
- Provide guidance to junior engineers as required
