Business Account Managers support our accelerated growth and help us sell our innovative Fiber Optic, Cloud Based Phone Systems, Cybersecurity, and Managed IT Services to new and existing customers. This is a very crucial role for ALLO's growth and core value to offer world class products and services. RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing prospecting strategies to identify and qualify new leads
- Nurturing and closing leads through the sales process
- Providing excellent customer service and support to your base of existing accounts
- Upselling current accounts with new innovative products and renewing existing contracts
- Face to face meetings with clients for sales and installs
Day-to-day duties typically include:
- Researching the needs of existing customers and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
- Contacting existing customers via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings to verify all their needs are being taken care of by ALLO
- Upsell new product to existing customers
- Entering opportunities in Salesforce
- Planning and overseeing customers meetings
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
Other typical duties include:
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Run reports in Salesforce
- Look up service orders in NISC and verify customers’ requests are being completed in a timely manor
To keep healthy relationships with clients, this mostly requires socialization. From simple chats on the phone to lunches and events or conferences, business sales executives must be sure to keep their customers happy. Of course, as with all office jobs, documentation is also a big part of the work. Business development professionals are also obligated to write reports and provide feedback to upper management about what is and is not working.
EDUCATION:
- College degree or relevant experience
EXPERIENCE:
- Two years of sales experience
- New university graduate but hungry to learn technology and sales
- Business sales experience and/or telecom experience are an advantage
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
- Strong communication and IT fluency
- Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations

- Comfortable in an office environment
- Coachable and hungry for knowledge
- Passionate about sales and providing an amazing customer experience.
- Typing skills ( 30 words per minute)
- Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to communicate information
- Ability to operate computer
- Remain stationary for extended periods
- Possess/maintain an valid driver's license
- Travel requirement: 25%
