Our IT Asset Manager (ITAM) is a unique and multifaceted role that serves our internal business. It includes software and hardware asset management elements, along with the responsibility of purchasing and managing our IT vendor relationships. Additionally, this role is also responsible for delivering guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up on requests for questions on hardware, software, and aspects of IT procurement and license compliance. You'll also work closely with our finance team to ensure transparency and provide reporting.We pursue these passions because ALLO leaders have created a workplace where folks are valued, ideas are heard, and leaders and teammates show up for each other at work and in life.
This is an in office position in Lincoln, NE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze simple to complex hardware and software requests, inquiries, and issues to determine the appropriate IT asset to fulfill the request or resolve the problem
- Document and track the status of IT purchases and coordinate appropriate response and follow-up to ensure IT and business requirements
- Ensure that all hardware and software assets are recorded, tracked, and reported
- Monitor and report on software license contracts, unlicensed installations, and prohibited software
- Interpret, evaluate, and resolve client inquiries or issues regarding the functional operation of application hardware and software
- Lead project initiatives related to asset tracking tools and methods
- Implement and refine repeatable processes and controls that demonstrate quality and regulatory compliance
- Provides cost-saving and cost-avoidance analysis
- Assist in providing a technical review on materials requested to be purchased
- Monitors and reports on physical and virtual technology environments
- Provide procedures and documentation for asset management technical function
- Partner with lines of business on software and hardware maintenance agreements for budget planning and renewal decisions
- Assist in analyzing financial data to extract and define relevant information; interpret data to determine past financial/purchasing performance and budget projections
- Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages, to assemble, manipulate, and format data and reports
EDUCATION:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or information science or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience developing, implementing, and adhering to IT Asset Management standards, procedures, and tools to support Allo's strategies
- Specific experience with asset management tools and methodologies preferred but not required

- Working knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications.
- Knowledge of information technology and tools utilized to monitor and manage IT assets

- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including creating charts/graphics
- Process re-engineering and improvement
- Strong organization and prioritizing skills
- Proactive thinking and execution abilities
- Results oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities
