The Workday Functional Lead manages reporting architecture and security configuration within the Workday platform, supporting the organization’s HR, Finance, and business needs. This role develops, maintains, and optimizes custom reports, dashboards, and complex solutions to provide accurate insights and data analysis for informed decision-making. Serving as a subject matter expert, the lead ensures data integrity, addresses emerging reporting needs, and keeps up to date with new Workday features and best practices. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, delivering innovative solutions while maintaining compliance and supporting ongoing operational requirements.We pursue these passions because ALLO leaders have created a workplace where folks are valued, ideas are heard, and leaders and teammates show up for each other at work and in life.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Security Management: Oversee the Workday security framework, ensuring data integrity, access control, and adherence to compliance standards. Maintain Workday security configuration
- Reporting Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Workday’s reporting tools (simple, advanced, matrix, composite, trending). Continuously update and enhance existing reports based on stakeholder needs
- System Support: Provide technical support for Workday integrations, EIB’s, Web Services, configurations, reports, and other integration tools. Support testing activities and migration of new configurations. Ensure all integrations are scalable and adhere to best practices
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business leaders to understand reporting needs, translate them into actionable solutions, and align on objectives to enhance Workday adoption and user experience
- Data Analysis & Validation: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and key insights, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of reports and dashboards through regular validation and reconciliation
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain integration and reporting documentation, including specifications, user guides, and audit records. Adhere to data governance policies and industry best practices
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on Workday updates and leverage new features to enhance reporting and integration capabilities. Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for aligned workstreams
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years specializing in Workday reporting, integrations, and data analysis
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
- Expertise in Workday reporting tools and integration technologies
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and consultative skills for cross-functional collaboration
- In-depth understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
