Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, assisting in the delivery of patient care and contributing to a positive healthcare environment. This is a 1 on 1 patient care on patients homes
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with daily living activities for patients, including personal hygiene and mobility support.
- Provide care for specific populations, including toddlers and individuals with dementia.
- Conduct assessments and document patient conditions using electronic health records systems such as Kinnser.
- Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Support patients with behavioral health needs through compassionate communication and intervention strategies.
- Assist in coding procedures for accurate documentation of patient care services.
- Participate in occupational health initiatives to promote workplace safety and employee wellness.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in administering injections is preferred.
- Knowledge of vital sign assessment techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with infection control practices is required.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as KINNSER.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential.
- Previous experience in behavioral health or occupational health settings is advantageous but not mandatory
Pay: $32.48 - $34.35 per hour
