Description : Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Welding Instructor to train and mentor welders at Alloy Engineering. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in various welding techniques, materials, and safety standards, and will be responsible for equipping trainees with the skills required for professional welding tasks. You will focus on practical and theoretical training, tailored to the specific needs of our welder fabricators working with materials such as stainless steel and nickel alloys.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver hands-on welding training programs, focusing on advanced welding techniques including pulsed and non-pulsed MCAW, GMAW and GTAW, and FCAW.
- Teach and assess welders on interpreting advanced blueprints and welding symbols.
- Guide students on executing welds in various positions : flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
- Provide fit-up instruction for projects aligning with Alloy Engineering's standards.
- Instruct on proper safety practices, tool handling, and equipment maintenance.
- Evaluate and ensure that trainee workmanship meets or exceeds ASME and AWS standards.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Foster an environment of learning and skill enhancement in a practical setting.
