Key Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Utility Lead, you will:
- Collaborate directly with the Warehouse Manager to meet daily shipping targets and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
- Perform the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing of products, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage both international and domestic shipments, ensuring timely delivery and tracking.
- Lead and motivate your team, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of productivity and morale.
- Provide training to team members as needed, ensuring all staff are equipped with the necessary skills.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction at all times.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and warehouse management systems.
- Ensure adherence to ISO Quality Program standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Oversee operational processes, suggesting and implementing improvements when necessary.
- Operate with minimal supervision, handling all operational issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, fostering a healthy and legally compliant work environment.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to explore new business opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with other managers to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
- Generate and review daily reports to track progress and performance.
- Step in to fill roles in case of team member absences.
- Maintain the facility and ensure equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse role.
- Familiarity with computer platforms and forklift experience are required!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and general computer skills.
- Strong leadership skills, including team-building, motivation, and communication.
- Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.
