Morvillo Precision Products, a division of Alloy Holdings, LLC is currently recruiting for a Shipping and Receiving Associate at our Providence, RI location. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with manufacturing experience to join our team.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure accuracy of inventory movement. The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving and shipping of raw materials, in-process components, finished goods and scrap. This department works closely with both the sales and production teams to meet customer demands. This position is a key a component in the company's objective towards the highest level of customer satisfaction. Essential Job Duties :
- Receive and record incoming product from production, vendors and customers.
- Utilize precision scales to validate and document weights of product being received and shipped.
- Utilize inventory control systems to track inventory flow and validate accuracy.
- Ensure product is shipped and delivered to customers according to schedule verifying that product shipments and weights are accurate and without fail.
- Utilize a hand-jack to move product throughout the warehouse
- Visually inspect for quality or inventory discrepancies.
- Move, lift, and carry, delivering items to appropriate areas.
- Always maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Always adhere to company safety policies.
- Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.
