Why we're hiring
Alloy is looking for a product counsel with privacy, data, and software subject matter expertise and a background in technology and financial services. This role will work closely with Alloy's product, engineering, data, security, and compliance teams to support rapid product development and commercialization, and the implementation of scalable privacy, risk management, and other solutions across the business.
What you'll be doing
- Provide proactive and practical legal advice to Alloy's product team regarding new and changed products and features, including on data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory matters. Build scalable processes for legal review and launch of new products and features.
- Become subject-matter expert on Alloy and its partners' products and features, including data flows, integrations, and models.
- Support teams responsible for third-party risk management. Assist with the continued enhancement of Alloy's vendor and partner risk management program and support privacy and regulatory reviews of key Alloy vendors, partners and partner products.
- Partner with compliance colleagues and other stakeholders in the implementation of Alloy's data privacy, data protection, model governance and regulatory compliance programs.
- Understand and monitor privacy, data protection, AI, and consumer protection laws, including CCPA, GLBA, GDPR, FCRA, and the EU AI Act.
- Provide guidance regarding the development and use of AI / machine learning technologies, including with respect to regulatory / consumer protection, intellectual property, and data privacy matters.
- Support Alloy's commercial legal team by negotiating and / or issue-spotting complex data agreements.
- Build strong partnerships across Alloy's business to ensure strong data privacy and security practices.

This position has a salary range of $190,000 to $224,000. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and region. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs).
