We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven leader for the role of Head Trainer at Alloy Personal Training. This brand new studio will be our 3rd club in the Charlotte area and is located near Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC. We are looking to add a full-time team member who is interested in the opportunity to grow with us in the community as we continue to expand as an organization.
Alloy Personal Training was started in Atlanta in 1992 and has been at the forefront of the fitness industry by consistently maintaining elite science-based training protocols focused on personal training done in small groups. It is also one of the fastest growing organizations with over 100 studios currently operating across the United States and another 200 in some stage of development. Unlike many fitness studios that are teaching larger group exercise classes and shouting through a microphone, we specialize in small group personal training (4-6 members per session). This allows us to personalize our members training sessions and make the necessary adjustments based on their goals, fitness level, mobility patterns, and injury history. The Head Trainer will focus 75% of their time on providing first class personal training, with the other 25% spent assisting the Director of Training with member retention, growing membership, team development, and managing the daily business functions.

The Head Trainer will be an instrumental part of helping us build that fun, welcoming environment inside the studios while they serve as the catalyst for membership sales and team development. Goals & Responsibilities:
- Be a leader and critical thinker. Solve problems that affect club sales performance and the members’ satisfaction.
- Uphold the mission and core values of Alloy.
- Personal train members close to 30 hours a week, help operate the business close to 10 hours a week.
- Review all weekly workout programming with training staff.
- Track members' booking, show rate and attrition metrics using Mindbody.
- Report and communicate with all clients that need to improve session frequency.
- Conduct accountability sessions as needed and correspond with the proper follow-up.
- Oversee all general operations of the studio including opening/closing procedures, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Oversee internal and external marketing activities, including member fitness challenges
- Assist in leading weekly staff meetings.
- Perform pre-workout assessments and enroll new members when the director is unavailable
- Help recruit and train new employees.
- Create content for club Instagram and Facebook posts
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must hold a Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, CSCS, ISSA, NCCPT, NCSF, ACE, etc. OR a Health & Fitness related 4 year college degree)
- BS in Kinesiology or Exercise Science preferred
- Ability to hire, direct, coach, train, motivate and evaluate staff
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Experience creating social media content preferred
- Some Evening and Saturday hours are required

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
