Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pallet Maker to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pallets using various materials and tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment, ensuring high-quality production standards are met.
Duties
- Fabricate pallets according to specifications, ensuring structural integrity and quality.
- Assemble pallet components using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate forklifts to transport materials and finished products within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise during the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Experience with pallet fabrication or assembly is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
