What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Installation Technician position at Allphase Masonry & Chimney?
We are seeking an experienced Gas, Pellet, Wood Stove Lead Installation Technician. In this role you will install and repair gas, pellet, and wood burning appliances in residential and commercial settings. Will be responsible for interpreting plans and installing the system in a safe way, as well as training the customer on proper use. The applicant must have expertise in Fireplaces, mantles, cultured stone and finish carpentry. The successful candidate will be able to identify the root cause of the issue and use problem solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve the problem on all units. Will perform cleaning and tuning as part of our clients’ routine maintenance of our products. As a representative of our company, you must perform your work in a professional, courteous, clean manner while educating the client on the product.
Job Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing Gas, Wood, Electric, and Pellet Stoves
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on all appliances
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Daily paperwork and computer documentation
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
Lead Installation Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
- Experience with Stove Installations and repairs
- Valid driver’s license.
- Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relations
- Self-motivated, Dependable, Honest and able to work Independently
- Ability to read, interpret and understand manufacturer’s guides, repair manuals and job scope sheets
