About Us: The Allred is a new 102-room relaxed upscale hotel opening in the fall of 2024. The Allred’s Bites Bar is a lobby and mezzanine area that serves as both the hotel lobby, and a unique dining destination. Job Description: The Barista is responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea and other beverages, maintain a clean and welcoming environment and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

· Create remarkable experiences for our colleagues and guests

· Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with established recipes and quality standards

· Provide friendly, efficient and personalized customer service, ensuring guests have a positive experience

· Operate espresso machines, grinders and brewing equipment while maintaining proper calibration and cleanliness

· Handle cash and card transactions accurately

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment

· Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food and beverage quality and compliance with sanitation standards

· Stay knowledgeable about menu items and ingredients

· Work as part of a team to support daily operations, including opening and closing duties, restocking supplies and assisting coworkers when needed

· Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year barista experience
• Proficiency in cashiering and cash handling
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills
