Licensed Mental Health Professional – Youth ACT
Location : Geneva, NY / Ontario County
Salary : $70,000 – $74,000

About the Program :
The Youth ACT program provides community-based, personalized care to help youth achieve stability and growth. Services include therapy, case management, psychiatric services, and skill-building to strengthen both the youth and their families.
Position Overview :
The Licensed Mental Health Professional will deliver individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation in community settings, such as homes and schools. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct mental health assessments & create individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services (individual, family, and group) using evidence-based practices
- Deliver crisis intervention to prevent hospitalization or out-of-home placements
- Work with schools, child welfare, medical providers, and juvenile justice agencies to coordinate care
- Help youth build coping skills, emotional regulation, and social functioning
- Provide psychoeducation to families to strengthen support systems
- Maintain clinical documentation and participate in audits, training, and team meetings
- Deliver services in community-based settings to foster trust and engagement
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in social work or related field (must be licensable)
NYS Mental Health License Preferred – LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT
Experience working with youth and families
Valid Driver’s License
