Insurance Business Development Representative - Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 75k / year - Philadelphia, PA
Our client, a 13 year independent agency headquartered in Lakewood, NJ, has a need for an Insurance Business Development Representative to join their team. They provide comprehensive insurance solutions & understand the insurance coverage needs of the real estate industry, hospitality, and healthcare fields.
Responsibilities :
Identify and Qualify Leads in the Real Estate Insurance Market
Research and target potential clients, including property managers, owners, and stakeholders in the real estate sector
Use market data, online platforms, and industry directories to pinpoint high-potential leads.
Conduct Cold Outreach via Phone, Email, and LinkedIn
Create and execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage leads across multiple communication channels.
Develop compelling messaging that highlights our client's value proposition, such as competitive pricing and comprehensive coverage.
Track and optimize outreach efforts to improve conversion rates and secure meetings with decision-makers.
Maintain Detailed Lead Records in monday.com CRM System
Log all prospect interactions, including calls, emails, and follow-ups, to ensure up-to-date and accurate records.
Utilize CRM tools to segment leads, track pipeline progress, and identify opportunities for re-engagement.
Generate reports to provide insights into lead generation performance and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the New Business Team to Transition Leads into Clients
Partner with account executives and underwriters to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
Participate in team strategy sessions to align outreach efforts with broader sales goals.
Share market insights and feedback from prospects to refine service offerings and enhance client acquisition strategies.
Qualifications :
3 years in sales, lead generation, or a similar role, ideally in real estate or insurance.
Proven ability to meet KPIs like lead conversions or revenue targets.
Skilled in using CRM platforms (e.g., monday.com, Salesforce) to manage leads, track follow-ups, and optimize workflows.
Compensation :
Base salary in the 65k - 75k / year range, plus commission on new & renewal business, quarterly bonuses, etc.
