Maintenance Coordinator - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 90k / year - Commerce, CA
Our client, a Plastics Films Manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join their team in Commerce, CA.
In this role, the Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for development, documentation and implementation of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate with other employees at all levels to ensure information is available and documented as part of the PM
Partner with engineering team on additions, deletions of modifications to PM procedures as changes to plant configuration dictate
Monitor and analyze PM reports, work orders and technician feedback to optimize effective and efficient PM procedures, planning and scheduling
Coordinate with Purchasing Manager for Min / Max items, procurement issues and shipment of spare parts and supplies
Organize and schedule specialized training or seminars to enhance the overall ability of the department
Coordinate between shifts and act as the central point of contact for mechanical / electrical PM issues
Ensure PM activities are consistently and concisely documented / filed
Initiate and distribute PM status reports to assist in the prioritization of resources and personnel
Coordinate all facility mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance activities
Plan and schedule mechanical and electrical PM’s
Maintain all plans, procedures, MOPs, SOPs and all other documentation necessary for safe and proper performance of preventive maintenance activities
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2 years of experience within a manufacturing environment
