Journeyman Electrician - Residential Servicing Company - Base Salary to 83k / year - Milwaukee, WI
Our client, a trusted name in the Milwaukee Area since 1989, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to work day shift (Monday - Friday) with a strong background primarily in running wires, hooking up furnaces & A / C Units, as well as connecting generators to residential homes.
Responsibilities :
Understanding and applying blueprints and technical diagrams
Using various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools
Installing or replacing wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers and other electrical devices
Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in homes and businesses
Adhering to state and local building regulations
Completing work orders on time
Documenting the work completed and materials used
Working with other electricians, general contractors, architects, and other team members
Qualifications :
5 years of experience in the field as an Electrician
Must have own set of hand tools (Power tools will be provided)
Strong understanding of wiring, circuits, and other electrical components
Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems
Understanding of local and national codes, regulations, and safety procedures
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
