Plant Manager - Metals Recycling - Base Salary to 175k / year - Baltimore, MD
Our client, a large, global Ferrous & Non Ferrous Recycler, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the overall Production, Maintenance, Operations, Safety & Quality for the entire plant.
In this role, the Plant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the plant while ensuring the safety of the workforce.
Responsibilities :
Knowledgeable in Scrap Metal Operations & Processing of Ferrous & Non Ferrous Metals
Develop Plans to Help Operations Run Smoothly
Implement KPIs and Production Goals
Work with Leadership to Create & Manage Budget
Interview, Train & Develop New Employees
Analyze Data & Provide Reporting to Leadership
Offer Continuous Improvement ideas to Improve Overall Flow of the Plant, Increase Production & Decrease Costs
Ensure Safety Policies are Adhered to
Partner with Maintenance Regarding Upkeep of Equipment & Regular Maintenance Scheduling
Qualifications :
5 Years of Management or Leadership Experience
Strong Mechanical Background- Ability to troubleshoot equipment as necessary
Background Managing a P&L
Must have Heavy Industrial Background Metals, Recycling, Aggregates, Mill Services, or Mining
Previous Experience as a Manager or Leader
Compensation :
Compensation for this role is comprised of a base salary up to 175k / year, plus an annual bonus.. Our client also offers individualized health benefits and 401k with a company match.
