IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Grounds Landscape Maintenance Worker at Charleston Air Force Base
$22.68 PER HOUR
MANDATORY BACKGROUND CHECK - NO FELONIES
Tasks include day to day grounds maintenance and operations including but not limited to:
- Mowing, trimming, edging, leaf removal on turf
- Tree trimming and removal using chain saws, pole saws and loppers
- Blowing of roads and sidewalks daily
- Clean up of grounds daily to remove all trash, debris and fallen limbs
Requirements:
- 2 years experience in landscape / grounds / tree removal industry (mowing your own lawn does not count).
- Must be a hustler, positive attitude, self motivated and willing to work.
- Must maintain a clean cut, well groomed appearance.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and physically capable of performing outdoors
- Work in various weather conditions to INCLUDING rain, cold weather, and extreme heat.
- Must be able to stay on feet and walk for long periods at a time.
- Must be able to follow all OSHA and other safety policies.
- Must posses valid identification and have reliable transportation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. All applicants are e-verified.
Normal Hours are M-F (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) some Saturdays
