What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift operator position at AllStaff?

Increase revenue from process improvements by checking shipping orders, palletize orders for transfer, properly shrink wrapping and weighing orders for shipping, pulling orders from stock if necessary, and filing the appropriate paperwork accurately.
Foster communication and collaborations across departments to requisition material needed to meet schedule requirements;

provide feedback and information to supervisor.

Develop process efficiencies through efficiently loading / unloading trucks, and accurately staging / shrinking orders to be shipped
Decrease costs by checking orders for completeness and efficiently loading and unloading trucks
Foster customer relationships through shipping products in a timely manner
Other duties and assignments as required.

Requirements :

Prior forklift experience REQUIRED (1yr min) - will be retrained and recertified ONSITE.
Must have ability to lift and carry over 75 lbs.
Employee must be able to sit, climb or balance, hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, talk, and reach with hands and arms.

Regularly sitting on forklift; frequently climbing on & off forklift.

Must be able to lift & engage dock plates on loading docks.
Duties preformed in a manufacturing plant environment; must be able to withstand high heat, humidity and airborne particles.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours : No less than 40 per week
