Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker or Clinical Mental Health Providers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families through effective support and advocacy. The Social Worker or Clinical Mental Health Providers will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and providing counseling and guidance in various settings, including healthcare facilities, schools, and community organizations.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address behavioral health issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and management services for individuals in distress.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff or interns as needed, fostering their professional development.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary resources, including Medicare services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage with families to provide support in areas such as childcare and child welfare.
Skills
- Strong background in social work principles and practices.
- Proficiency in crisis management and intervention techniques.
- Experience with motivational interviewing to empower clients toward positive change.
- Ability to mentor others effectively while supervising their work.
- Knowledge of behavioral health issues and treatment modalities.
- Familiarity with child welfare policies and practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
