Job Summary
AllStar Property Services is a well-established property maintenance company, seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper/Exterior Porter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the parking lots and grounds of our clients' properties. This is an overnight full-time position. Hours usually range from 9pm to 5am, 5 nights per week, including nights and weekends.
Job Duties
- Keep outdoor spaces clean by removing debris and litter
- Change out trash liners and hand pick litter to remove from parking lot surfaces and landscape areas.
- Operate a backpack blower to remove debris from storefronts, curb-lines and corners.
- Clean up and maintain dumpster areas with shovel.
- Cobwebbing and wiping of window ledges.
- Perform janitorial duties that include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming along with replacement of toiletries.
- Perform basic pre-trip vehicle inspection, which includes oil level, tire pressure, burnt out lights etc.
- Drive company vehicle from job to job.
- Complete paperwork at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years (insurance regulations) with a valid Florida driver's license with no traffic infractions in the last three years on your record.
- 3rd shift experience preferred.
- Experience in groundskeeping or related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification if necessary. Responds well to questions.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to bend.
- Must be able to walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Hard work is recognized and rewarded.
Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. The availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends is a requirement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
