What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at AllStar Staffing Group?
We have an immediate need for a Maintenance Mechanic Tech at a leading manufacturing company conveniently located in Swedesboro, NJ. This is a temp to hire opportunity. The hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a rotating schedule.
Job Duties Include:
- Perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
- Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
- Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and
- performs scheduled maintenance repairs fo production equipment during machine service.
- Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic
- troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and
- service.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Safely operate and repair forklift
Job Requirements Include:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
- Previous work experience in mechanical, electrical and/or experience
- Able to effectively communicate.
- Ability to muti-task in a fact pace environment.
- Minimum of two years of related experience in packing machines or production machines.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour

Education:

- Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
- Industrial maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
