Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Nurse to join our team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding disease processes and care options.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Assist with basic life support measures when necessary.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with mammography procedures is beneficial.
- Background in critical care or primary care settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices is essential.
- Knowledge of MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments is advantageous.
- Skills in venipuncture for blood draws are required.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) is mandatory.
- Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus.
- Previous work in a medical office setting will be considered an asset.

Pay: $81,135.00 - $84,800.00 per year
