Job Summary : The drafter is responsible for technical drawings and plans of steel constructions using Auto CAD. Job Duties : Knowledge of Auto CAD and steel construction, welding and piping Create layouts and complete detailed drawings sets for steel structures Attention to detail Accountability and delivery on deadline commitments and quality Knowledge or experience in steel fabrication and field construction a plus The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. - Associates Degree or certificate from a technical program will be considered
- Knowledge and experience with using Auto CAD
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiar with engineering concepts and terminology
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail oriented and high capacity to work in a focused and methodical manner
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Organizational and follow-up capabilities
- Basic mathematical skills, e.g. averages, percentages
