This position prepares for and conducts hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.Key Responsibilities Prepare for and conduct settlements / dispositive proceedings (e.g., mediations, arbitrations, etc.)Prepare for and conduct court appearances (matter management conferences, hearings, status conferences, etc.)Investigate and pursue subrogation litigation, as appropriatePrepare for, try, and / or arbitrate cases and prepare motions in limine and summary documentsReview new file assignments, all documentary evidence and approve initial pleadings, propound discovery, and develop strategyPrepare witnesses and clients for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials including expert witnessesContact clients to discuss their case and answer any questionsConduct depositions and examinations under oath and prepares summary documentsKeep claim business partners updated on status (initial client contact, initial litigation plan, recurring contacts, strategy conferences, and pre-trial, etc.)Education 4 year Bachelor’s Degree (Required)Juris Doctor (Required)Experience 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.Compensation Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.Joining our team isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity.
